It works and I'm becoming more familiar with Luminar but I would prefer to use Lr Classic. My workaround is to import new photos into Lr Classic to create the path for my external hard drive, then close Lr and open Luminar to edit the photos. Photoshop seems to work fine despite the problems in Lr.
That arrived a few days ago with Lr Classic 10.1.1 almost simultaneously with the macOS Big Sur 11.2 upgrade and the same problems continue. Apple Support was unable to provide a solution and advised me to wait until the next upgrade.
My problems began with the upgrade to macOS Big Sur 11.1 back in December 2020. I am able to import and open photos in Lr Classic Library Module and the advantage of the upgrade for me is that it accepts images from my new camera, a Nikon Z6 ii, that was not possible on the previous editions of Lr Classic. Does anyone else experience their computer freezing when you try to edit photos in the Develop Module in Lightroom Classic 10.1.1 on an Apple macOS Big Sur 11.2? I have to shut down my computer and restart it.
